A friend of mine was watching TV inside (!) his home. Hearing the rolling thunder he went out but could not see something. After hearing the thunder I talked to him on the phone and he told me about his observation. I was very surprised that he could hear the thunder i n s i d e the house while watching TV. I was outside and did not hear the thunder very loud.
