Remarks | I was the passenger in a vehicle when I saw this, so my time and location are not very accurate. I was traveling north on Hwy 75 between Melissa and Sherman TX from approximately 22:45-23:15. I saw this above the horizon in the eastern sky. I didn't think to note the exact time and location at the time. It was much larger in diameter and much brighter than shooting stars. It glowed green. It was very steady and streaked at a moderate speed, very similar to the meteors I saw during the Perseids. |
