Remarks | This is the second time I have seen something this bright streak across the sky, though this was shorter in duration. I did not report the previous sighting as it was some years ago and I did not know about this site. I occasionally see shooting stars/showers while surf fishing from Long Beach Island (Barnegat Light, NJ) in the Fall. Those sightnings never seem as close to Earth as this did. |
