| Remarks | I've seen falling stars before, but this was very different. It was a gradual/yet fast fall with lots of spatter/flickering light (like a compact giant sparkler on the 4th of July) versus the quick drop of a dot of a star. My mother was with me - we were driving in a car and we both saw it at the same time - I answered my cell phone at exactly 6:27pm (CT) the very moment we both saw the object falling!!! Please note: In an initial question in this report I mentioned the sighting was 6:30pm (CT). However, in confirming the time I received a call on my cell phone which was the exact time my mother and I saw this fireball - the sighting time was 6:27pm (CT). |
