Reports Report 395fp (Event 395-2016)

Remarks I thought this was a student firework, since it was so apparently low and large--but when I drove past the area I assumed it was from (had to have been up high in a building, I thought), there were no sounds of student celebration or any obvious point of origin. Looking on line just now (having Googled "Fireball," which coincidentally was the name of an event here in Madison this past weekend) I saw there were reports of a meteor, which may have been what I saw. The times don't seem just right, though: I may be wrong in my memory. I was returning from taking food to a colleague-I left my house around 540, got to her house around 6, stayed around 20 or so minutes and then saw it on the way back--so I would have thought it was between 630 and 7 my time (central). So maybe it was a firework after all. It moved from the north to the south and lasted a long time, being very bright and resembling another meteor I saw here in Madison a few years ago (except it was blue ish white rather than orange red, the way that one was).
