Remarks | Unfortunately I am not exactly sure what point on Highway 1 I was at when I made the sighting, or exactly what time it was. It was definitely south of the intersection with Jalama Rd. (heading north), and before 7:30 pm, but that's all I can say. I also probably estimated its trajectory too low/high, because the "horizon" was a mountain. The fireball was red and at first I was afraid I was seeing a falling airplane. I think I saw its body breaking apart. Another witness was in the car with me. |
