It was an amazing experience. The light was so close to the tree line that I thought it landed somewhere between Kinderhook and the Hudson River. The fireball seemed very close. I wondered whether it was part of a plane or a satellite. I had observed a plane passing about 10 miles before.... in Valatie, N.Y.

It was light behind it. Not smoke. About a second or a little less. I don't understand the length of train ... can say that it was from the horizon of the trees to about 1/3 way from where it first appeared.
