I was driving south-ish on I-59 in Houston. My car clock read 11:30 am. The meteor fell just to the left of the rear view mirror. I had an unobstructed view. It was very bright, light green with white flashes.

It started as a streak and ended up somewhat rounded at the end like a long tear drop. Pieces were flying off as it fell.

Remarks
It broke up at the end and went out quite quickly. At first I thought a light from the freeway lamps had fallen out. It was morning, around 11:30 am (car clock).
