Reports Report 3673y (Event 3673-2015)

Observer
Name James F
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was driving back to Quebec after a day hike in New Hampshire with my son. This was by far the brightest celestial event I have ever witnessed and I have seen many meteors over the years. The bright streak of light ended with an almost blinding flash, much brighter than the light produced by a full moon. It appeared to be very close. Being in the car with the windows up, I may have missed any possible sound associated with it. Unfortunately, my son was asleep in the back seat and missed it, in spite of my frantic efforts to rouse him. This was a thrilling once-in-a-lifetime experience for me!
