Reports Report 3630an (Event 3630-2015)

Observer
Name Downs A
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks fireball was small (appeared larger than "stars" behind it and was fully in atmosphere) with distinct short trail - full moon with haze - disappeared behind trees - appeared very distant from my position despite being very clear in sky - I was driving a car at the time so unsure if there was any noise. I am 51 years old and have watched meteor showers casually for years. This was by far the largest meteor I have ever seen and was fairly slow by comparison to others I have seen but still a very fast moving object.
