Reports Report 2984d (Event 2984-2015)

Observer
Name Robert R
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I was looking approx south from the hill near Crystal Palace. It looked like the fireball was above Croydon. It arced through the sky for about 6-7 seconds. I have experience of observing meteor showers and am a keen amateur astronomer (we have a 3 inch reflector telescope). There are regularly planes in the sky but not in that direction or elevation. It was too large and too high for a firework. I am convinced it was a meteorite.
