When I first observed the fireball, I mistook it for a low flying airplane or helicopter.

Remarks
When I first observed it, it was similar in appearance to the ISS on a low pass It was yellow and spherical. As the fireball proceeded across the sky flames appeared to have been flickering off of it as it descended.
