Remarks | Ever since I saw my first fireball as a adult, on January 4, 2010, I've been a avid meteor shower observer. And reported a few of the ones that shined brighter then Venus wit terminal flashes. I would have reported his one at the time but I was at work and could not use my phone, and the satellite I just watched tonight reminded me to report this. |

Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | The flash was a intense bright light green and split in two. The larger one kept the same direction. The second small piece split off downward only lasted a split second. |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | The sun was just below the horizon, so the magnitude my have been brighter then what I reported. But it started out green. Half way it flashed bright light green. (The brightest point.) The small piece dropped down about 3° and quickly disappeared. The other piece stayed a bright light green then just disappeared without fading away. |
