Remarks the object was moving discernibly faster than an airplane given it's location in the sky. it was moving slower than any shooting stars that I have seen. as I said, it did not have a tail. in my vision field, it's size was somewhere between the circumference of a dime and an eraser on a pencil.

Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks object appeared as a bright orange circle with no tail. it moved right to left in my field of vision. right before it disappeared, it seemed to have about 5 pieces break off from the back and then all objects disappeared. it was only when some fragmentation appeared that I realized it was a meteor. I was driving my tractor-trailer at the time and I saw the object for about 3 seconds and was just ready to convince myself I was seeing a ufo when the fragmentation happened. I totally guessed at the previous questions about it's orientation in the sky since I was in a moving vehicle at the time.
