Observer
Name Robert M
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I am a wildland fire lookout and nature photographer. These r my initial observation notes: Was lying in bed and saw flickering bright light behind me. I turned around and saw bright green flickering light falling toward earth then it changed to yellowish orange and disappeared as it approached the ground. It didn't completely light up sky but it was very bright. My fist impression is that it was like a giant flare falling straight to the ground. It fell straight down and what i saw lasted just 4-6 seconds? Also, the initial flash lit up sky behind me and that was another 3-4 seconds before I turned and saw it.
