Remarks Emerging from behind some tall trees to my left, I observed what appeared to be a giant blazing roman candle fireworks display coming across the western sky from the south where the moon was located and traveling north. For a moment, I thought it was fireworks, with lots of white light and projecting fireballs.. Then there were multiple fireballs moving together silently across the sky right in front of me, glowing white, yellow, orange and red with trails. The speed was slower than I would have expected. The multiple lights diminished to one single light heading due north and disappeared from sight. Note: I ran from the indicated position on the street where I first saw the exploding meteor, if that's what it was, to the west side of the building to my front right on the map. Several fireballs were still visible but faded as one object continued north.
