Experience Level 1/5
Remarks This object, whatever it was, was the most awesome and brilliant "thing"I have ever seen. We didn't have a clue as to what we were seeing but we knew it was an extremely rare occurrence to say the least. It was almost as if time stood still at the moment we saw it. It also appeared to be going in an upward angle and not going very fast but as it crested over the interstate we were driving on it got behind the tree line (at least from our vantage point) i was able to see it as best I could while driving and looking sideways then backwards. Now, it was not in fact, even with or below tree line, it was merely shielded from our view for the most part.

Remarks From just past the end of the "tail" of main object, there were approx 5 "fragments" trailing/detached from it. It soared over the interstate and behind the tree line on the other side of interstate upon which I was driving (this was the side I was on that it was headed towards/going over. I briefly saw the main "object" and it appeared to be brilliantly colored and immense from my perspective. My family and I were headed home from a family vacation and I was the driver. My wife saw the object as well but all three children were asleep. We got off on the exit and tried to catch up to it and snap a photo but were unable to as it disappeared from sight. We never saw any impact. Have no clue where the object went.
