Reports Report 1037z (Event 1037-2015)

Observer
Name Kristin J
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks My daughter was at work, 6 miles away from where I was when I saw the meteor, and she sent me an excited text telling me that she saw "A flying fireball that was green and falling from the sky behind covered bridge apartments on Vine Street in the village of Liverpool, NY" (those were her her words). I told her I saw it too and we were all still outside in the parking lot talking about it. Also, where my daughter was when she saw it is in the same direction I was facing (East) when I saw it. (except she was 6 miles away towards the East)

Remarks It looked like it was breaking apart just before it disappeared. I didn't see pieces fly off in other directions or anything, but definitely saw pieces break off. At first I thought it was a firework due to the brightness and color, but it was NOT a firework. There were no flashes or sounds.
