My 11 year old daughter also witnessed this fireball. We saw it driving through the front of our windshield. At first I thought it was an airplane in the sky. It was very bright. More white than yellow. It wasn't until it exploded and broke into two or more pieces that we realized we witnessed a fireball.

It split into two or more pieces as it exploded then quickly disappeared. It went from mostly whitish to a bright yellow with small shades of a bright orange.
