Blew us away. If there was any noise associated my 10 year old son drowned it out with his excitement. His immediate reaction was to plug his ears and duck waiting for an explosion. I've seen lots of distant shooting stars... nothing like this. So close and bright and incredible. Just wish we had an open sky to watch it longer. Or had the chance to catch it on film.

It flashed firey before disappearing behind Courthouse Butte. We only saw it for less than a second before it disappeared.
