| Remarks | This was relatively slow moving for a meteor - some "pulsating" ... I was looking down at the bike path, and it caught my peripheral vision - first reaction was "low flying aircraft", but as I watched, it was completely silent and obviously much higher and distant. It lasted between 5 and 10 seconds - long enough for me to ponder what I was watching. It disappeared behind the trees and foothills almost due west. Tail was bright green. I do a little amateur astronomy. |
