Remarks | This was a once-in-a-lifetime observation for me. I majored in geosciences with many astronomy courses in college so I knew what it was, immediately. My husband saw it at the end, too. It caught my eye earlier than for him and I watched it for several glorious seconds. The bright green was like when you burn copper. |

Remarks | glowing, most of it as fat as the fireball but then tapering to a downward-curved point at the end. The end was pointing toward the east and the fireball was toward the west. |
