It was so low that I am pretty sure it landed in the field behind my house when it disappeared from view. It was not in the sky or atmosphere at all...it was just above the tree line and I watched for a few seconds. It was the size of a football as I watched it I could see it burning up. It was very cool. Perhaps it was a piece of what others have been observing?
