Reports Report 3638atn (Event 3638-2014)

Observer
Name Laura K
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It was extremely bright, traveling east to west and then suddenly seemed to extinguish before it could pass over to the western horizon -- kind of like a flash or a poof in the air. It did not crash into the earth as a fireball -- it extinguished in mid air. I didn't hear any sounds -- I was in my car with the radio on. The whole thing lasted about 5 seconds and it appeared to be relatively low in the sky. It was VERY bright
