My daughter and I were stopped at a traffic light traveling south when we observed the fireball. It was the size of a quarter held at arm's length and had a bright burning trail approximately the length of my hand at arm's length. It was as clear as, and lasted about as long as a large firework. It traveled at a slightly downward angle - not as steep as 45 degrees - from left to right and disappeared behind Shades Mountain. We were traveling south. We were in the car with the radio on so we didn't notice a sound.
