Reports Report 3384gc (Event 3384-2014)

Observer
Name Sarah R
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I've seen "shooting stars" before, high in the sky and sort of dull in brightness. This was totally different! It was a bright white streak, lasting maybe one second, vibrant as can be, shooting from right to left across my vision. After gathering information about where it was seen, my brother did some calculations to estimate it at about 11 miles above the earth. I wonder how accurate that actually is... looked like it was just above the hill on the horizon!
