Remarks | My husband and I were both outside in a hot tub. The time was somewhere between 8:00-8:30pm est. The moon was very bright. The sky seemed very clear when the clouds were not in view. The clouds were moving very fast in a north easterly direction. My husband was facing west & saw the first fireball. I was facing east and saw it's reflection go across the top of the water in the hot tub. I turned around and could see an orange glowing trail...this quickly stopped glowing and became a white smokey trail. When i faced east again i saw another, less bright, but still quite bright streak from the north eastern horizon shoot up but only to about the 55-60° spot. We heard no sound with either. Very cool. :) |
