Reports Report 3110y (Event 3110-2014)

Observer
Name Alison H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The head was yellowy and orange. It was bigger than the tail (train). Both the head and tail were flickering. It was so large, I thought it might be flaming wreckage. No smoke visible in the night sky, but the flames were spectacular. The head of this meteor was the size of my thumbnail with my arm fully extended. It was huge. I was amazed by how dynamic and animated the flames were. The skies in the area of the meteor were clear. I could see stars even through the glare of nearby streetlights and traffic.
