I was camping with a group of 12 women and we all observed the fireball. It came from a southern direction and traveled to the west (I looked on a compass), almost on a horizontal path. It seem to disappear either into some trees in the distance. At first some of the group thought someone was shooting fireworks from across the river. It seemed so close that when it disappeared we anticipated hearing a crash or some related noise.

Remarks
We (11 of us) observed the train following the fireball the entire time it was in our vision. Both were moving almost horizontal until they disappeared behind the hill or trees. The train was brilliant white and glowing and longer than the fireball was wide.
