I'm 47y/o. This was not your typical shooting star. Slower and bright green. I first thought it was firework (roman candle ball) but never heard a sound. It finally disappeared behind the tree line. I was facing just about due north and it was moving from my right to left. I was talking to a friend who was facing south and I asked him to look but by the time he turned around it was gone. So it was visible for about 3 seconds.
