Remarks I didn't see a ball traveling across. I saw what looked to be light from an explosion off to the west. However, it was so large, the "line of light" almost appeared like a horizontal lightening strike that went across the entire western portion of the sky. It was like a line that curved downward (like a frown) but only slightly (b/c it was so big) It was dark where I was (driving westbound on rt 422 just east of Royersford, PA) so all I saw was the light flash, it happened quick but looked bluish to me. It was a notable enough of a sighting for me to specifically look at the clock to note the time. The light appear to flash all at the same time to me...if there was an object traveling in a certain direction I couldn't tell, but there was it would have been really fast and would have been either north to south or south to north (since looking west, the light-line was perpendicular to me...albeit up in the sky).
