Remarks This clearly came (more or less) east to west as we were driving westward and it appeared over our heads almost in line with I-66 at our location. The green was VERY brilliant and bright. It appeared larger after we first saw it before disappearing over the horizon about 2 or 3 seconds later. It had a very slight trail which quickly dissipated.
