The large end/front (heading down) looked almost flat. I've seen a few meteors over the years but never so white nor so large. It could have been space debris. It looked like it was shot straight down with a slight right to left projection.

Almost cylinder in shape at the base and became narrow with a pure white sparkle on the outer edges to the end as it headed straight down then disappearing at the top of the tree line.
