| Remarks | One of the most amazing fireballs I have seen in person. Felt like it was fairly close? Because it was so big, had the double explosion thing, & I could see so much of the sparkles & stuff. I am so glad I had a witness of it, who also freaked out, & I could talk out the details of what they saw, which was exactly what I saw. Conversely, about 15 years ago? I saw a long lasting meteor, same area, & same color. No exploding like this one. But a brilliant long lasting & quite bright. |

| Remarks | Big burst of greenish light, then trailed sparkles, lightly dimmed, then burst almost bigger/brighter & left a trail of sparkles. I was at a stoplight, facing south, & had enough time to point it out to passenger & they saw several seconds of it & the last explosion & sparkles. (little smoke, but I have never seen this much sparkles on any meteor in all my life). It was easily seen even though I was in town & lots of lights around! |
