| Remarks | This fireball started as a light streak across the sky, at first I thought it was what we call a shooting star. Then it burst into a bright fireball for about 2-3 seconds...it had to be very bright as I saw this from my neighborhood in the southern tip of Baltimore City where light pollution is terrible. The fireball extinguished for a second or two and the reignited to last for another 5 seconds or so it seemed. It was very impressive, never seen a meteor that bright in the sky. Very cool!!! |
