| Remarks | I had seen this at the time from the back porch kind of late at night, assumed I was seeing things, and told no one. Just tonight (9.27), a friend mentioned that he'd read about this awhile back and sure enough, there it was. I noted the time when it happened, thinking that would be a good way to confirm it later (good thinking on my part!). Mostly was out of the corner of my eye, and I at first thought somebody was spotlighting for deer down in the woods behind the house. I only saw the fireball out of the corner of my eye at first (it followed the very bright flash), but I got a bit better look at it towards the end of its brief visit to our planet. |
