Reports Report 2306wh (Event 2306-2014)

Remarks I was driving northbound on I-71 and the fireball caught my eye for a few seconds. I thought that I was seeing things, because I had never seen anything like it. Indeed, I have seen smaller meteors entering the atmosphere (shooting stars), but never anything like this. I would have simply forgotten about it unless I had seen this article. Knowing now that I have seen a rare meteorological event, I am kind of excited about it. The information I have entered must be taken as approximations, since it was such a fleeting event--something I observed while driving on a busy highway and seeing it through street lights.
