I saw the whole thing to the point where I thought it was a plane crash or maybe even a missile. I was waiting for an after shock, thinking something was going to hit the ground but nothing. I immediately called my parents to put on the news.

I saw it and heard it. My girlfriend only heard it. But in the beginning it sounded similar to that of an air plane engine starting up (when the small light started to increase in size). and then when it fell, it sounded like a military jet flying bye.
