Have Bachelor's degree in astronomy and many years experience observing, but am not a professional astronomer. I was in a closed vehicle when I saw it so unlikely to hear any sound if there was any. Found it difficult to show the extent of motion observed with tools provided. Moved nearly parallel to horizon for about 8 degrees from the time I first saw it until it broke up and faded.
