I checked for planes since there are many coming into Dulles within minutes of each other which I observe on a nightly basis. Surprisingly there were none. I thought perhaps a kid and a rocket but no trails of any kind.
I was stunned at the sight!

The fire bucket dropped from the sky. I looked for planes. Or vapor trails and saw none. The "bucket" seemed to explode and disappear from my view.
