| Remarks | My husband and I were in our car, on our way to a clearing hoping to see the northern lights. I saw the meteor before my husband, who was in the car with me and, in my mind, I thought it was a large security light. It was very large and I remember that I compared it to the street light, which was much smaller. Also, it was very white, while the street light was yellow in comparison. In addition, I first perceived the meteor to be a 'fixed' security light because it wasn't moving until it 'dropped'. My husband only noticed it as it dropped, but to me it 'hung' for a while, like a fixed light, so I guess the trajectory was directly at us, which is why I did not initially realize it was moving. |
