Remarks	I was driving home from work and wrote down what I saw when I got home. I found out about this site today. It clearly caught my attention as I was driving and clearly witnessed the event through my driver's side window. It was a clear night and the event was over extremely quickly. I thought it was a shooting star at first, but then the object appeared very large and got very close to the tree line. The object looked to be in between the size of a baseball and a basketball as it descended towards the trees.

Remarks	I witnessed an "object" falling almost vertically straight down; as it travelled down towards the earth, there was a white flame underneath, it appeared similar to a shuttle reentering the atmosphere. I thought the object was going to hit the trees, as it appeared over a forest. As it got closer, instead of hitting anything there was a huge flash, it looked like a bomb went off. Everything in my line of vision went white for a split second. Then there was nothing, no impact or shockwave or fragments, it just disappeared.

I witnessed an "object" falling almost vertically straight down; as it travelled down towards the earth, there was a white flame underneath, it appeared similar to a shuttle reentering the atmosphere. I thought the object was going to hit the trees, as it appeared over a forest. As it got closer, instead of hitting anything there was a huge flash, it looked like a bomb went off.
