If it didn't land in my yard than it was much larger than what I thought it was and it is probably in the lower part of the valley in front of my house.

Remarks
It was a white streamer like tail as bright as the "fire ball" traveling straight down. I looked for it this afternoon in my front yard but didn't find it.
Terminal flash
Observation
Yes
Remarks
The initial flash is what brought my attention to the window. The whole front yard lit up with white light and the flash faded to the image of the white "fire ball" with the streamer like tail dropping straight to the ground. I was in bed on the second story of my home so I did not see it hit the ground, When it dropped out of view of the window the night faded back to black so I figured it burned out and hit the ground. This is why I spent time this afternoon looking for it in the direction in which I saw it.
Fragmentation
Observation
Yes
Remarks
Slight fizzles as it dropped. It was like white ashes flying off a camp fire only as a part of the trailing streamer.
