I saw it during a baseball game so I couldn't hear any sound because of all the noise in the stadium. I actually thought it was a dud firework, left over from the big display that the city of Baltimore had put on the night before. It was that bright! I had no idea that it was actually an astronomical event until a friend of mine posted a news article about it on facebook. I'm sure you would get a bunch more descriptions if the local news reported on it. Thanks for your data collection and analysis; this is really cool!

About 3/4 of the way through its decent, it exploded into a flash and then a small part continued on for a fraction of a second before it disappeared. It started out being light yellow and right before it exploded it turned darker yellow almost orange and then when it exploded it had a light green outer huge and then the small fragment that fell for a moment afterwards was the original light yellow.
