| Remarks | I noted this as an unusual sighting. It looked like a really interesting astronomical appearance (like a colorful version of what I might see from a meteor shower) and was very high. I have seen flares and rockets fired through the sky, but this appeared much more certainly as an astronomic event. I was waiting for the beginning of the last concert of a major concert festival and just happened to be looking up and over my shoulder at the sky when it passed by, but it was bright enough to see with the light pollution of Chicago and a concert festival. |
