My wife saw the exact same thing 2 weeks ago about 15 miles from the same location. I am not sure if she would be able to give the exact details about the fireball that she saw. Also, I believe that I finally have an answer for what I saw when I was a young child. I believe I saw a Bolide. I saw a large purple and green explosion in the sky on a clear night. No one I have ever explained it to has ever been able to relate or explain to me what I saw. Any ideas?
