Remarks I am a scientist in the field of biology. I was driving south on Alabama 59 approximately 4 miles south of Faulkner State Community College. I thought a car with it's brights on was about to pass me on the left. I saw the meteor above the tree line also traveling south and directly east of the highway. It was bright white with a slight green hue and a small smokey glowing tail. It was moving very fast and I lost visual contact with it almost immediately behind the tree line. I immediately looked at my clock which read 2:10am. The next mile marker I saw was mile marker 14. I have never seen a meteor before and found it quite thrilling. There was nothing reported on the local news the following day. I would like to know if it made impact and if it was in fact a meteor. I found your questions very confusing. The map did not even indicate north. I assumed north was at the top.
