| Remarks | I was sitting on the balcony of our 2-week "home" in Treasure Island, Florida, enjoying the nighttime view of the gulf before leaving for home the next morning. All of the sudden, a blue ball of fire streaked over our condo into the gulf (I'm sure it landed several miles away). I swear that if my arms were a little longer I could have reached out and touched it. I was simultaneously awestruck and stunned, so much so that I literally had heart palpitations. I still can't get over how phenomenal it was! I watched the late news, Googled, Binged, etc. but could find no reference to it. Other than my daughter, was I the only one who saw it? What was it? Anyone know? It was absolutely stunning, but a bit too close for comfort... know what I mean? |
