My girlfriend was in a car behind me and saw it as well. I posted about it on reddit.com under the /r/baltimore subreddit. It looks like there were more than just myself in the area that noticed the fireball too. (If thats what it was)

It started as a golden-ish fireball that became a brighter orange-ish color that then broke apart into 5 or 6 pieces that each burned a dark green color leaving behind a golden tail as they fell.
