It was night and it was very bright red/orange and was traveling through sky. It seemed to get brighter for just a second then went dark but because of moonlight I could still see it traveling through the sky for a few more seconds. We were traveling on a boat across Dale Hollow Lake so I didn't hear anything because of the motor.
